microMETER Technical Information
|
|
These online documents cover installation procedures and the latest updates. Generally, the first one (README) is "frozen" by
the UL approval and should be available to the electrician. We include a printout (6 pages) with each order.
The second has all the latest updates and covers everything else. This generally should NOT BE PRINTED (100+ pages), as it is updated frequently. A third document is devoted to 3-phase installations.
Additional installer certification is strongly recommended.

microMETER Installation Planning Utility
|
|
The best installations result from a well-organized electrical panel. In existing panels, the most straightforward installation
follows the layout by starting at the top, working down the left buss, returning to the top, and working down the right buss.
This planning tool will automate much up the software configuration process and allow additional customization to consolidate and present
accurate data in the most logical order. If the panel itself is being planned at this time, it is a good opportunity
to group related circuits in the busses as they are scanned above. It is not recommended, however, to re-design a panel or
move circuits around for the sake of a more logical layout. More important is preservation of the correct load balance
between phases.
