Tampa Bay needs a thriving Adult Ed Center with alternative material not found in other area schools.
Recently I searched for a quickie course on golf and thought of
Baywinds.
To my unpleasant surprise,
I discovered that it is no longer operating.
I found many of the original course descriptions (but not one
for golf) and listed them here. I took a realestate "tycoon" class in the 80's that served me quite well. Also, I taught one on basic electricity that can save you thousands in your lifetime. We definitely need this resource.

We need new instructors and new classes. As an instructor, you have no obligation other than to teach your scheduled class for which you will receive most of the student fee (proceeds - see "how this should work") that you set in your class description. To participate, please fill in the Instructor Registration form (on the main page) so I can contact and pay you.
If you are a NEW instructor, use the template (on this page) to describe your class. I will add it to the catalog. Give me a future date (email/phone) and I will list it under Student Registration (on main page).
If you are a FORMER instructor, give me the Class# (at top of index) and a future date by phone/email.
I will notify you of the number of students registered periodically as the date approaches. You will need to provide a location and let me know a week or so ahead so I can notify enrolled students. I think it is wise and unselfish to plan an "uncancellable" class for 1-5 students with a recurring date, e.g. 2nd Thu, to encourage participation and minimize planning overhead. Just set your price accordingly.
As we get moving, I will automate more of this. Right now we need some "seed" classes (besides my own) listed under the Student Registration (also on the main page). You can help by letting me list your regular, recurring classes here for free. The result should be additional prepaid attendees that will make your classes fuller. I started an advertising campaign with weekly planet and craig's list.
